Christmas 2010

Christmas was a little different this year. For the first time since forever, we were not all together to celebrate Christmas. The 'out of towners' couldn't celebrate before Christmas, and some of the 'in towners' had travel plans for after Christmas, so... we celebrated Christmas on December 26th without two of our clan. Scott had a mission trip to Budapest, and Laura went on a ski trip. We missed them, but we celebrated with everyone here, and even had some special guests. Wayne was adopted as an infant, and has been blessed by finding Nita in 1999. They have enjoyed getting acquainted and she has been gratified to find 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Nita and her daughter, Wayne's half sister came to have Christmas dinner with us. Our dear friend Molly and her children and one of her grandchildren came for a visit, too. Later in the evening we exchanged gifts, and it was a sweet time together.
